1971 Pontiac wagon

1971 Pontiac LeMans Safari woody patina wagon.
No fake patina, but real Californian sun-baked patina. Proudly wearing some old battle scars and still showing it’s 50 yr old decals from a vacation in Mexico back in ’73,. Also still showing it’s ’86/ ’87 parking permits for Santa Cruz’s University of California.
After sitting for years and years in the previous owner’s backyard the wagon came to Europe and was upgraded a bit.
Engine is a Pontiac 400 6.6L with a TH350, dual Pypes exhaust with an x-pipe.
MSD ignition, rebuilt quadrajet carb
Big front and rear swaybars and tubular upper front control arms.
The interior has reupholstered front and rear bench seats and reupholstered rear side panels. Recently new door and tailgate weatherstips were installed. The tailgate window motor works from the dash switch.
